BCA SEC(K) Skills Evaluation Certificate for Construction Workers
Credence Manpower Services helps Singapore employers understand SEC(K) skills evaluation and recruitment requirements for eligible foreign construction workers. We support worker sourcing, screening and recruitment coordination, subject to applicable Building and Construction Authority (BCA) and Ministry of Manpower (MOM) requirements.
Employers recruiting construction workers from Non-Traditional Source (NTS) countries or China should verify the current SEC(K) testing, certification and work permit requirements before hiring.
2027 SEC(K) Changes for China & Thailand
From January 2027, mandatory pre-entry SEC(K) testing in source countries will cease for new construction Work Permit holders from China and Thailand. Employers may bring workers in for local SEC(K) testing, while BCA-recognized vocational certification under the AEP pathway may provide an alternative route.
